What is your fee?

Unless otherwise specified in your good faith estimate, session fees are as follows:

Initial Intake Assessment (90-120 minutes): $240

Standard Individual Therapy session (45-52 minutes) $120

EMDR and TF-EMDR (60-90 minutes): $180*

*EMDR or TF-EMDR sessions that run the standard time (45-52 minutes) will only acquire the standard rate of $120 per session.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance directly. However, you may have the option of utilizing your out-of-network benefits for our sessions.

If you use insurance on an out-of-network basis, sessions will be charged directly to you at the time of our appointment. I can then provide you with a receipt (called a “superbill”) which you can submit to your insurance company who may then reimburse you for some portion of the cost based on the coverage your plan has for therapy on an out-of-network basis.

Why choose an out-of-network therapist?

Engaging in out-of-network therapy offers several distinct advantages. These include enhanced confidentiality—your treatment information remains private from both your insurance provider and family members—greater autonomy in selecting a provider who aligns with your therapeutic goals and personality, and no need for referrals from a primary care physician.

Additionally, given the increasing prevalence of high-deductible insurance plans, many individuals find themselves covering the full cost of therapy out-of-pocket until their deductible is met—even when seeing in-network providers. As a result, the financial difference between in-network and out-of-network care may be negligible. This context underscores the importance of prioritizing clinical fit and therapeutic rapport when selecting a provider.

Where are you located?

I am based out of Rochester, NH. Streamside's mailing address may be listed in search engines as being in Derry, NH. I am able to travel for our sessions, and can provide services anywhere in the State of New Hampshire.

Can I meet with you by telehealth/video if I am out of state, perhaps away at college or temporarily on vacation?

Unfortunately, no. Licensing restrictions prohibit me from providing services to you if you are out of state. Even if you are a New Hampshire resident, you must physically be in New Hampshire at the time of our telehealth session.
